calculate_qaly
Section titled “calculate_qaly”calculate_qaly([positional or keyword] utility_values: np.ndarray | list[float] = None, [positional or keyword] time_years: np.ndarray | list[float] = None, [positional or keyword] discount_rate: float = 0.03) -> floatCalculate Quality-Adjusted Life Years (QALYs) over time.
QALY = Σ(utility_value * time_period * discount_factor)
Args: utility_values: Health utility values (0 = death, 1 = perfect health) time_years: Time periods in years discount_rate: Annual discount rate (default 0.03 = 3%)
