NumPy-based computational backend.

evpi([positional or keyword] self: None = None, [positional or keyword] net_benefit_array: ArrayLike = None) -> float

Calculate EVPI using NumPy.

Parameters:

  • self
  • net_benefit_array ArrayLike

Returns: float

enbs_simple([positional or keyword] self: None = None, [positional or keyword] net_benefit_array: ArrayLike = None, [positional or keyword] research_cost: ArrayLike = None) -> float

Return a legacy clipped EVPI-minus-cost screening score.

This compatibility helper substitutes EVPI for EVSI and floors the result at zero. It is not signed ENBS and must not be used for COSS.

  • research_cost ArrayLike

Returns: float

enbs_simple_jit([positional or keyword] self: None = None, [positional or keyword] net_benefit_array: ArrayLike = None, [positional or keyword] research_cost: ArrayLike = None) -> float

JIT-compiled version of ENBS calculation.

This is a simplified version that calculates ENBS as: ENBS = EVPI - research_cost

Parameters:

  • self
  • net_benefit_array ArrayLike
  • research_cost ArrayLike

Returns: float
